So very happy about the movie, Laggies, using my song Night Light (co-written with Jess Furman). The movie stars Keira Knightley and Sam Rockwell. I think Sam is great. Kiera, too, but I’ve seen a lot of movies with Sam and he’s a favorite of mine.
Also happy to report that Party Dress (co-written with Lindsey Ray) was heard on the ABC show Mistresses.
The very popular Canadian show, Degrassi, will be using my song All These Things in their upcoming season 14, episode 14. You can hear the song on my new EP, Septagon (stream from my music page here at this website or find it on iTunes.). Thank you Degrassi!
Beth’s new EP, Septagon, (released on April 8) is available now at all the usual digital outlet stores. Beth and the band will play their EP release show on Saturday, April 26 at 9:30pm at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, CA. yay!
The International Songwriting Competition just chose its semi-finalists and Beth’s new song on the upcoming EP, “All These Things” was one of the semi-finalists. The contest has nearly 19,000 entries from over 100 countries and the semi-finalists make up the top 8%. Very happy and honored to be one of the 8%.
LA Stage Alliance nominated Beth and Rob for an Ovation Award for “music and lyrics for an original musical”. And they won!! Also winning was the writer of the book, Jim Leonard. These awards are for the musical “Bad Apples”. Find out more about it on the Musical page on this site.

The LA Weekly Theater Awards nominated Beth and Rob for Best Original Music and they won the award! Rob and Beth were thrilled to be recognized for their work on the rock musical “Bad Apples”. (click on “musical” tab above for more info)
Beth’s song, “Everyone Falls”, was heard on episode 204 of the Client List and her song “A to Z” will soon be heard on the new ABC show Save Me!
ACT Theatre in Seattle will be doing a workshop in of the musical “Bad Apples” in July. We are very excited to see if this workshop will turn into a full production at ACT down the road.
The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle (LADCC) has announced its nominations for excellence in Los Angeles and Orange County theatre in 2012. “Bad Apples” was nominated for 4 awards including best musical score!
Several of Beth’s songs are heard on the new Bravo TV show “Vanderpump Rules”.

My song, “Wash U Clean” will be in the Steven Soderbergh movie “Magic Mike”, starring Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey; opening June 29th. The song will be on the soundtrack, too. Super excited! Is it wrong for me to hope the song plays during a strip scene? Hmm……. nope. Not wrong at all!
On Mother’s Day weekend (here in the states), May 11, the film “Girl In Progress” starring Eva Mendes opens and 4 of my songs are in it. That’s kind of miraculous! They are: Everyone Falls, You’re So Pony, There’s No Way and Night Light. Night Light isn’t on any of my albums so if you’d like to hear it, click here.
